Transportable Pressure Equipment
Ensure your equipment meets TPED requirements.
Since the early days of industrialisation, manufacturers have placed the highest importance on the safe and efficient function of pressure equipment, especially during transport.
Manufacturers of transportable pressurised equipment need to ensure that products such as fuel gas cylinders, welding gas cylinders, road tankers, battery vehicles, containerised vessels, cylinders in life rafts and lifejackets, as well as vessels for cryogenically cooled gases, meet the legal requirements for the safe transport of gases within the European market.
Only Inspection Bodies in accordance with ADR/RID and Notified Bodies in accordance with TPED can carry out type examination of transportable pressure equipment. TÜV SÜD is an authorised inspection and testing body for the European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by road and rail. We can help companies in this certification process for European countries.
